Viorica, who has over 7 years of experience in public accounting, joined Kieckhafer, Schiffer & Company in August 2009 as a Tax Senior and was promoted to Tax Manager in January 2011. Currently she is working within the large corporation tax group and her primary area of emphasis is accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740 (formerly FAS 109 and FIN 48).      

Prior to joining KS&Co, Viorica served as a staff accountant and was promoted to senior accountant in a local, small sized CPA firm whose clients consisted of closely held businesses in the technology, construction, service and healthcare industries.  Her experience ranges from tax return compliance to consulting. More specifically including assistance in IRS and FTB audits and examination representation, transactional planning for high net worth individuals, C and S corporations, partnerships, trusts and estates. Viorica has valuable experience in delivering personalized, courteous and value-added services to small businesses and has gained a sound understanding of what owners/mangers expect from their accountants.  

Viorica graduated from Moldova State University in 2000 with a degree in Law and earned her Master in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from the University of California Riverside, in 2005. Viorica received her CPA certificate in 2009 and she is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
