Chris has gained invaluable experience in today’s complex business environment, and how technology plays an ever increasing role in how organizations meet their business obligations.  Chris has a CPA’s perspective and ability to understand the complicated business implications associated with technology.

Chris joined Kieckhafer, Schiffer & Company in June of 1998 as a staff accountant and gained considerable experience in federal and state taxation.  Chris has focused on servicing our clients with their corporate and partnership compliance and planning needs, as well as in accounting and auditing needs.  Over time Chris migrated to the Information Technology area addressing both implementation and maintenance of information systems. 

In 2007, Chris earned the Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) credential.  A CITP is a Certified Public Accountant recognized for their technology expertise and unique ability to bridge the gap between business and technology. Unlike other certifications that recognize only a narrow scope of skills, the CITP credential recognizes technical expertise across a wide range of business-technology practice areas.

Chris is an Orange County native, born and raised in Santa Ana.  He attended Chapman University in Orange, CA, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting in 1998.
