Asa assists U.S. based multinational companies with domestic and international tax and business planning, specifically addressing international tax structuring, income tax treaties and other international tax matters. Asa recently joined KS&Co after serving eleven years with a national accounting firm.
Asa has been engaged in a number of large U.S. multinational projects that have included offshore acquisitions and dispositions, structuring and reviewing various repatriation strategies and advising clients with respect to global tax reduction techniques. Additionally, Asa has provided extensive U.S. tax compliance services with respect international operations as well as the ASC 740 implications of such operations.
Asa's specialties include serving clients with respect to planning and compliance in connection with export and manufacturing incentives, foreign tax credits and Subpart-F.
Asa received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics (Accounting Concentration) from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Oregon and a member of the OSCPA and AICPA.
